Taqueria Los Lee – Ground Beef and Potato Gorditas

South Salt Lake’s Taqueria Los Lee isn’t just about the tacos. While they’re mighty fine – the gorditas at this modest spot are out of this world. Choose from a range of proteins, but for my money the simple mix of ground beef and potato makes for an outstandingly comforting filling. The fried masa shell that encases the whole thing is fried golden brown, each bite offering some crunch and gently yielding interior. A brace of these stunning gorditas costs a crazily cheap $6.99.
