Carson Kitchen new Winter menu

Carson Kitchen - caviar topped eggs

Carson Kitchen invites guests to experience their new winter food and cocktail menu available now for dine in or carry out. In his whimsical style, Chef and Owner Cory Harwell reimagined familiar dishes with bold twists to provide choices that are both comforting and playful.

“There is no greater way to connect with another human being than by sharing a meal or a beverage. And there is no better or more comfortable place to do that than at Carson Kitchen,” said Harwell. “We continue to celebrate our menu philosophy of reimagining dishes you’re already familiar with or introducing you to new ingredients by putting them in familiar vehicles.”

While many of the classic dishes remain including bacon jam, chicken skins, and cocoa-espresso New York strip steak, Carson Kitchen’s winter menu boasts 10 new dishes to try. The foie butter and jelly is an example of pairing food that is recognizable with a more obscure flavor, making it more likely that people opt to try something new. The pork meatloaf reimagines a classic meatloaf with new ingredients, bringing tradition and innovation together. The Iron Chef Burger 2.0, featuring red onion jam, crispy prosciutto and celery leaf, is a riff on the recipe that Carson Kitchen collaborator, the late Chef Kerry Simon, created when he won a hamburger battle against Chef Cat Cora on “Iron Chef America.”

The cocktail menu at Carson Kitchen is second to none and now guests have three new drinks to try. The Shootin’ Blanks is a riff on the Gunslinger with rye whiskey and amaretto. The Bald Aussie is a take on the Penicillin cocktail that was created at Milk & Honey in New York City by Sam Ross, a famous mixologist who is, in fact, a bald Australian. Carson Kitchen’s version is made with scotch and a ginger honey shrub, and the Banana Hammock, a tiki-style cocktail with banana and cinnamon, is an entirely new creation by Harwell.

Carson Kitchen has become a popular landmark next door to AC Hotel since its opening in August 2020. Salt Lake City is Carson Kitchen’s third location, which was originally founded by Harwell in Las Vegas in 2014.

Carson Kitchen is located at 241 W 200 S and serves lunch and dinner seven days a week.
