Despite the streets of Utah being awash in great Indian and Nepalese restaurants, it’s surprisingly hard to find a truly excellent momo; the snugly wrapped dumpling filled with chicken, lamb or veggies. I’d steer you to Bhutan House if you’re in search of the best. A word of caution though, the restaurant isn’t playing around with the Scoville units. When they say hot, they mean incendiary. Scale your spice-ordering as such, and if you still overshoot – do what I do – eat them atop a pile of biryani with cooling raita.
Bhutan House is a Nepalese mom and pop restaurant in Sandy Utah. The restaurant is open six days a week. Beer and wine is served.
